Q. Why should I choose an FMB (Federation of Master Builders) Member, to complete our building work?
Answer: FMB members have been checked for good business practices, are specialists within their field, have many years experience and have all the appropriate insurances for your peace of mind & security.
Answer: As all of our projects are bespoke, the timescales can vary according to size and specification. Specific times can be discussed with your surveyor & will form part of your individual quotation. Typical build times for loft conversions tends to average around 10-12 weeks. Typical build times for home extensions tends to average around 14-16 weeks.
Answer: SMA Lofts & Extensions will discuss your project with you to prepare the design plans to your specification requirements. We will then undertake the submission of your application to your Local Authority for all the necessary approvals. Check your Local Authority here.
Answer: SMA offer insurance-backed guarantees on all our projects and conversions.
Answer: SMA Lofts & Extensions will arrange all required permits from skips to scaffolding if and when applicable.
